Hi all, When attempting to load the driver module via 'modprobe ath_pci', I received the following error: /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: unresolved symbol unregister_sysctl_table_R8c79656d /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: unresolved symbol proc_dointvec_R1807d02f /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: unresolved symbol register_sysctl_table_R068c8f86 /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: Hint: You are trying to load a module without a GPL compatible license and it has unresolved symbols. The module may be trying to access GPLONLY symbols but the problem is more likely to be a coding or user error. Contact the module supplier for assistance, only they can help you. /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-386/net/ath_hal.o: insmod ath_pci failed I am running Debian Sarge (3.1) with a 2.4.27 kernel. I have made sure that all of the requirements were met and my kernel is configured correctly. Why am I unable to load the driver? I don't know what I could've done wrong or what else I can do to get it to work. Someone please help me. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. --clw -- ************************************************************** Clifton L.
