Hi, =0D I am configuring wds with latest madwifi snapshot madwifi-ng-r1593-20060525, following all the guidelines given at http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/WDSBridge It seems the configuration is working fine as both the aps are able to ping each other. =0D I have made br0 as a slave of both ath0 & ath1 interfaces as specified in the link.. brctl addif br0 ath1 brctl addif br0 ath0 My doubt is that after ping when I checked for " RX packets: " by using commands, ifconfig ath0 ifconfig ath1 ifconfig br0 I noticed ath0 had 0 no. of RX packets.. But my ath1 & br0 interfaces had almost received all the packets sent by the other ap.. =0D Ideally ath0 should receive or not ?? As ath1 is the interface responsible for enabling WDS, ath1 is receiving packets...But ath0 is not.. So my configuration is correct or not ?? =0D As this is a question of concepts only, hope will receive a reply soon ..... =0D Thanks in advance :-) saurav The information contained in, or attached to, this e-mail, contains= confidential information and is intended solely for the use of the= individual or entity to whom they are addressed and is subject to legal= privilege.
