Hi, I got it to work but with SSID broadcast enabled. The following commands were performed: Activate: /usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant -ddK -iath0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -Dmadwifi /sbin/dhclient ath0 Deactivate: /usr/sbin/wpa_cli ->logoff ->quit /sbin/ifdown ath0 Killall -q wpa_supplicant Killall -q dhclient And in my wpa_supplicant.conf: -deleted scan_ssid -ap_scan=0 And it works... sometimes I need to wait a little for it to allow me to use the internet. What chip set? I have a 5211. Mine finds the AP, exchanges keys, but after a short while, blacklists my AP and loops to do this all over again. Logs would be userful. > Does wpa_supplicant work with SSID not being broadcast? Mine SSID broadcast is enabled. I don't think it could be this. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Madwifi-users mailing list Mad...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/madwifi-users |
