[Madwifi-users] am I loading the newest version?

I'm sorry, I am very clueless. I am new to Debian, and everything is different from mandrake. Not that I was very expert with with mandrake. I have compiled the newest madwifi package, I think. How can I tell if the driver I am now using is different than the driver I was using? Here is what kernel says, but the version numbers don't make any sense to me. Is this the most recent? Also in /etc/modules I have added ath_pci and wlan_wep should I add anything else? I should say that everything works very well, except occasionally I would experience the stuck beacon problem. That hasn't happened lately. I want to express my deep gratitude to the people who are making the driver and the people helping others install it.
