I can repeatably produce an irq: nobody cared message with madwifi cvs from yesterday evening and (vanilla) kernel 2.6.9. Unfortunately, it's both a new kernel (2.6.9 v.s. 2.6.8.1), and new madwifi (2004-11-07 v.s. 2004-10-25). This is on a Soekris net4501, with a mini-pci card. Not sure how to avoid it. I've put debug info below, if that helps... Anyone seen this before, or know of a way to fix/avoid it? (I didn't see a solution in some previous messages that dealt with the "irq x: nobody cared" problem.)
