Hi, as the subject already says, i've trouble to compile kernel 2.6.8.1 after i've applied the patch. There isn't anything special in the kernel (which could be another patch or so). To apply the patch, i just ran `sh ./install.sh /usr/src/linux-2.6.8.1-wlan', which didn't give any errors. When I compiled the kernel afterwards, i got this error: --snip-- [root@aurora:/usr/src/linux-2.6.8.1-wlan]# make CHK include/linux/version.h make[1]: `arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.s' is up to date. CHK include/asm-i386/asm_offsets.h CHK include/linux/compile.h GEN .version CHK include/linux/compile.h UPD include/linux/compile.h CC init/version.o LD init/built-in.o LD .tmp_vmlinux1 drivers/built-in.o: In function `ccmp_attach': drivers/built-in.o(.text+0x5a25b): undefined reference to `crypto_alloc_tfm' drivers/built-in.o: In function `ccmp_detach': drivers/built-in.o(.text+0x5a291): undefined reference to `crypto_free_tfm' make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1 [root@aurora:/usr/src/linux-2.6.8.1-wlan]# --snap-- I didn't find this error anywhere else in the ml-archive, so i'll try to ask you guys. I hope someone can help me. :-( -- Cheers, phil |
