Hi, I have a new MacBook (13", black, don't know its technical name) and since the kernel 2.6.21 it happend sometimes that I can't use the PCM control in the ALSA mixer. I use the standard kernel from my distribution (ArchLinux) There is a mactel patch applied but I don't know which. Description of the package: http://archlinux.org/packages/4197/ The mactel patch applied: http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/kernels/kernel26/mactel-linux-2.6.21.patch?cvsroot=Current&only_with_tag=CURRENT Does it happens to you too ? In fact, the PCM control is blocked at 100% and not mutable. If I start alsamixer the mute flag doesn't appear and I can't lower the volume. If I use the gnome mixer, if I try to move the volume cursor it stays at 100% I can still change the volume using others controls. -- Mildred <xmpp:mi...@ja...> <http://mildred632.free.fr/> Clef GPG : <hkp://pgp.mit.edu> ou <http://mildred632.free.fr/gpg_key> Fingerprint : 197C A7E6 645B 4299 6D37 684B 6F9D A8D6 [9A7D 2E2B] |
