Hi, I run a classic ubuntu gutsy (so it's a kernel 2.6.22-14-generic). Yes I am a noob and I love my distrib ;) To compile, use m560x/branches/m5602-ov9650-2/. To install, use the patch Maxime attached, or (it will do the same thing) modify the install rule in the Makefile to match : install: mkdir -p $(DESTDIR)/lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/kernel/drivers/usb/media install -m 644 -o 0 -g 0 m5602.ko $(DESTDIR)/lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/kernel/drivers/usb/media depmod -a (make sure you indent with real tabs and not spaces, it's important in the makefile language) After that, it's the classic sequence : make, make install. If I can give you an advice, blacklist the following modules when you don't test your cam : v4l1-compat, v4l3-common, videodev, m5602 Cheers, Christophe-Marie On Tue, Apr 22, 2008 at 3:27 PM, Jabka Atu <mas...@gm...> wrote: > Hello,... > > Could you please tell how did you compile and install. > and what kernel ? > > 2008/2/18 Christophe-Marie Duquesne <chm...@gm...>: > > > With the last svn...
