Revision: 104 http://m560x-driver.svn.sourceforge.net/m560x-driver/?rev=104&view=rev Author: ilyes Date: 2007-11-04 07:30:33 -0800 (Sun, 04 Nov 2007) Log Message: ----------- No more calls to m5603c_create_sysfs_files and m5603c_remove_sysfs_files. The current linux kernel (2.6.24-rc1) has an issue w/ USB devices registration and sysfs nodes creation. Currently these nodes are created twice so that the message "duplicate filename 'bInterfaceNumber'" gets thrown to the user-space after probing the USB device. A rather trivial patch prepared by Alan Stern (http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/10/17/197) was put on LKML to fix this issue and I think that it will be merged into the main kernel tree. Probably this explains the crashes that Jeremy gets when experimenting w/ my experimental driver for the m5602/ov9650. With the patch applied to my local kernel, I don't get anymore warnings.
