Now, since Fedora LXDE 13, I am annoyed by a bug: I lose keyboard input

But, I use 2 (very) old notebooks. Same OS and settings. The one with an
Intel GPU is not affected at all with any of the LXPanel problems
related here. The other -- old pentium VI, Ati 900 Mobility -- is a
"LXPanel bug magnet".
Bug 710496 is a little difficult to follow. I am not positive that a
Xorg file would solve the issues I encounter (LiO, Ibus, and Firefox
panel icons - so far). But I welcome some advice.
Else, will the situation of the LXPanel improve on Fedora 17 LXDE,
or the next Lubuntu release, or not yet? Although, I do like LXDE over
XFCE, the lxpanel is such a long standing annoyance on this particular
notebook, I might try XFCE as DE for my next install? here to I
welcome some feedback if some of you also use XFCE.
