Much appreciation, Loukas Avgeriou & Dimitra, for a job well done, indeed! (and all the others, of course)! [Cinnamon 21] It appears my ineptitude is the only limit to what this wonderful piece of code's capable of. I know I'll grow, even if it's baby-steps, to get the most from this software. Thanks for providing me this opportunity to continue along my journey with you, so to speak. The application and documentation complement each other well. I could go on and on; in my experience, I've only scratched the surface as I tinker about. It's: simple enough for beginners (like me) wonderful output display powerful results quite stable so far support requests monitored Warm regards & Best wishes!

This is the more convenient synchronization software I've found in the Linux Mint Cinnamon Software Manager. It is a bit complex to manage but it does the job flawlessly as long as you use the "Simulation" option and carefully check the result prior to making any actual change. I run this program to sync files on my various devices (computer, mobile, backup drives and even my private cloud storage) and I have used it for about ten years now. So far so good!

I use it for 10 years. It's not a true backup tool as we get in pro environment. But it' enought for a PC at home to make a copy and to update this copy. I save my "home" which is in a separate disk. Perhaps a compressor would be useful because using a 1 TB disk to back up a 1 TB disk is not a good solution.
