scott,

  double check to see if your DHCP is working correctly and is
available for leasing. If you can't see anything on the auth.log, try
to do a tcpdump on the interface of your VM ltsp-server, try to see if
there is any kind of traffic at all. Things that might be worth
looking at

- DHCP Server/Config
- Firewall ESXi (if there is any)
