I'm having trouble with this as well. I have a fully-updated Hardy 64-bit system. It's not a fresh install, but I did a fresh build of the chroot environment, following the instructions below. My SYM1112 units won't boot to completion (I even left one going overnight). They hang somewhere near 3/4 of the Ubuntu "progress bar" being filled in, if that makes any sense to you. I'm using LTSP 4.2 as my primary system, so this is not a big problem for me. Still, I'd like to get LTSP 5 working w/ these clients.
