What are the permissions on the TDIRECTORY....this could be the problem. - Robbie P.S. New mailing list is ltp...@li... Robert V. My question is regarding environment setup... If I set the environment variable "TDIRECTORY", some of the tests return FAIL or BROK, but they PASS if I unset TDIRECTORY. I didn't see it in the docs... has TDIRECTORY been obsoleted, and if so what is it replaced by, and I'm curious as to how this would cause a fail. ex: [root@redhat suites]# export TDIRECTORY="/foo" [root@redhat suites]# /usr/test/LinuxTestProject/ltp/tests/access02 access02 1 BROK : open(test_file1, O_RDWR|O_CREAT, 0644) Failed, errno=13 :Permission denied access02 2 BROK : Remaining cases broken access02 3 BROK : Remaining cases broken access02 4 BROK : Remaining cases broken [root@redhat suites]# /usr/test/LinuxTestProject/ltp/tests/access02 access02 1 PASS : Functionality of access() for test_file1, successful access02 2 PASS : Functionality of access() for test_file2, successful access02 3 PASS : Functionality of access() for test_file3, successful access02 4 PASS : Functionality of access() for sym_file, successful Admittedly, I am a C rookie so I have but a partial understanding of the source.
