Indeed, it's a very important issue for most people I think. <...> > That's the nature of you guys developing programs like this. They are > big and complicated. That's good to hear anyway, it's nowhere near bug free or feature complete, there's still lots of known issues that we slowly try to adress. Still it has enabled me to "finish" lots of projects in a mostly stable way (see http://spamatica.se). As for new features the coming MusE 0.8 is where most new things will end up, it is still quite a bit into the future but has substantial feature improvements in several areas. We should probably put up a status report on the homepage. I would not hesitate asking for features, or asking if things work correctly. Infact your questions so far have brought a number of interesting and important issues to light :) Of course I cannot guarantee that we will implement whatever is requested but a lot of the work is driven by what users want (sometimes WE are the users and thus satisfy our own requirements). Discussing features, bugs, work flow, etc. is a good thing in many many ways. > > Long term there are some other solutions, someone (sorry I forget names) > > is working on a port of the dssi-vst implementation to a native > > mess-synth, also in 0.8 Werner has already added native dssi support, > > though it does not support VST as of yet. > > All of that is beyond me. Heh, ask Mathias about not writing music ;-) I think he sometimes blames me for dragging him into this endless development craze ;-). As for LS, that would be nice to integrate =). > > There is this new version of jack_fst coming that I've had the > opportunity to test here.
