A couple of commits ago I made the piano keyboard and drum list
 respect the 'speaker' button. 'Speaker' must now be on to hear
 any sound from piano keyboard or drum list.

It's because one may not always want sound to come out of the thing,
 during editing, especially in light of the new per-note velocity editing.

Hm, you must have accidentally moved the Arranger out of the main window.

Click on the Arranger's Window Config menu, and select 'As Sub-Window'.
This should put it back into the main window.

Several other MusE window types also have this Window Config menu.

In fact, if you like having some or all of the windows inside the main window,
 take a look at the GUI Style tab in the Global Settings menu.

You can choose one of three different types of interfaces:
Traditional MusE, 'Borland/Mac' style, or 
 pure Multiple Document Interface (MDI).
Or customize to your liking.

I'm using the pure MDI interface right now in Lubuntu's OpenBox desktop
 which is a bare-bones blank desktop with a single right-click menu.
It boots up instantaneously, and with MusE MDI and the Fullscreen option,
 screen real estate is well used. Here is where MDI really shines.
Florian did an excellent job adding these features.
