Truth is Qtractor looks and feels very nice, but isn't a replacement for Muse as it lacks some of the refinements required (and available in Muse1) for power users as Rui himself has admitted; > Or.. we could just lie down and let others sort it out. How dare you sir! You get to work at once!! As I have carped many times before this isn't going to go away- about 3 months ago i predicted this would begin to occur and now it has started. Slow at first, but it's just going to continue. I agree with Alex and he agrees with me - Muse rules. Muse needs a transformation to QT4 not just for cosmetics but simply to survive. To deny this is to diminish all the great effort that has been applied by you two core devs for so long and for such little recognition in the mainstream. It's such a pity that I cannot code myself, as Alex also said, but I will be here to help in anyway I can. If you were to give me clear instructions and hold my hand perhaps I can do some of the hack work - i'm willing if you are. That's my (well known) 2c on the issue. best, g |
