I'm working on a feature. Then one more annoying bug concerning pre-fetching audio, and then that should do it. I see a commit and a pre release of muse '1', if Robert is not too busy and still into this... Also made many more fixes from then till now, including this: Aux audio tracks not working intermittent (I knew there was something wrong! I said many months ago - no sound from them! Bug report months ago too...) What's the feature? I mentioned I was working on the midi controller editor, hidden (since muse 0.7 or so?). I finished it! Only to then realize that the controller editor was REPLACED by the midi instrument editor, also hidden (since muse 0.7 or so?). Duh... Well, I couldn't sit by. So that's what (should be) coming soon - a proper (working!) midi instrument editor for muse 1, complete with a midi controller editor. Alas, probably no SysEx editor for it, like in muse 2 ... One issue: Where to store .idf files, since in muse '1' it is fixed at <inst dir>/share/muse along with all the other shared muse stuff like templates. But the muse dir can be overridden at run time with the environment var MUSE, but unfortunately this must also contain the muse libraries, and all the other shared stuff. So we may have to add a configuration setting or at least an environment var MUSE_SHARE or MUSE_INSTR etc... Hey Geoff, so like, is it actually cold this time 'o year down there? Wouldn't that be a cold summer, or is that 'winter - hah!' for you? Cheers. Tim. |
