As long as this is limited to using the input layer this is really a linux-media issue. That said, if you want to walk around this problem you could try to disable the non-functional kernel deocoding and use lirc instead e. g., as described in http://lirc.org/html/configuration-guide.html. Note that this guide describes lirc-0.9.2. Debian uses the old 0.9.0 - there are differences especially with respect to configuration Cheers! --alec |
