In case anyone actually cares... I reverted to a 2.6.35 kernel and recompiled 0.9.0pre1. In this configuration the atiusb module functions correctly but the uirt2 module still segfaults with the same output if I try to connect to it. lircd[3271]: segfault at 8 ip 0806fc15 sp bfdaf8d0 error 4 in lircd[8048000+2f000] I double checked with my previous setup and all functioned correctly. Although this was actually 0.8.6 so I'll make sure 0.8.7 worked next. Any other suggestions? Mike.
