I knew that project. But the problem is the configuration of the remote. Concordance only can I/O with the device, the whole configuration logic is done in the website. It's such a nice hardware, but the software simply is too restricted and brain damaged. I've struggled before with it, and now the end of my patience is reached (it's impossible to play around with some settings, and then return to a previously stored setting) I've even thought about reverse engineering the hardware (at the end: it's only a PIC microcontroller inside with some LCD, how hard can that be...) but then I'd probably could by me some other remote more cheaper than spending time with this. what I'd like is: - LCD which has programmable soft-buttons (i.e. 'labels' for keys) which otherwise are not available as hardware buttons - macros - PC-based configuration without need for internet+service-center connection (I'm even willing to fire-up my vmware Windows for this) Albert -- __________________________________________________________________ | _______ | | Albert Huitsing | | Huitsing Embedded Systems | | System Design | /|___|\ Dr. Mondenweg 5 | | al...@hu... | / \ 7831 JA Nw.
