Hello I have installed lirc 0.8.1pre5 and it works just fine with my tv card's remote control. The problem occures when I put irexec to any of my startup scripts and I reboot machine. If I add irexec -d to /etc/rc.d/rc.local then I can't use it as user, just when I'm logged in as root. The same happens when I run it manually as root. If I put irexec to ~/.bash_profile then I have to run konsole first in KDE. Than it works but I have this in /etc/lircrc: begin prog = irexec button = POWER config = tvtime & config = tvtime-command QUIT end Tvtime will not be loaded when I press the power button, but I can turn it off with the same button. The second problem is in that case that every time when I log in (whitout restart), irexec is being loaded one more time, so when I press button on remote control, the command will be executed twice or more time. So now I put it into ~/.xinitrc, and it works until I restart X. Then it is being loaded once again, too. When I manually run irexec like user, everything works just fine, even turning on and off. |
