Hello. After updating gcc to version 4.1.2, I recompile lirc. Since this compilation, I canot load anymore the lirc_dev and lirc_serial modules... When I want to load the lirc_serial module, I receive back the following error: WARNING: Error inserting lirc_dev (/lib/modules/2.6.12.5vdr/misc/lirc_dev.ko): Invalid module format FATAL: Error inserting lirc_serial (/lib/modules/2.6.12.5vdr/misc/lirc_serial.ko): Invalid module format I also have the following messages in the syslog file: Oct 8 14:48:36 mcp-vdr kernel: lirc_dev: version magic '2.6.12.5vdr preempt K7 gcc-4.1' should be '2.6.12.5vdr preempt K7 gcc-3.3' Oct 8 14:48:36 mcp-vdr kernel: lirc_serial: version magic '2.6.12.5vdr preempt K7 gcc-4.1' should be '2.6.12.5vdr preempt K7 gcc-3.3' Of course, mode2 fails when trying to openi the device. I have recompile my kernel in order to be sure that the correct kernel is used, but it seems that it does not agree ! What should I do to get the modules loading ? I'm not sure to really understand what to do ! Many thanks for your help. MichaelP |
