Eventually there should be a run-time configuration option in lirc_sir to switch on the act200l support. That's how it is solved in the lirc_serial driver already. > I've gotten around this by deleting the kernel > modules generated after the second make, but should the behaviour of > 0.7.1 be restored such that kernel modules need to be built before > userspace drivers, and the two are kept separate? There have been requests to change the behaviour to build all kernel modules for the "any" option. But this already has caused different problems. My current suggestion would be to add a new option "all", that will build all user space drivers and all kernel modules and change back the "any" option to only compile the user space drivers. Would that be ok for everybody? Christoph |
