Hi, I have configured LIRC by using the ./configure command, and have chosen the default values, e.g. including "transmitter diode". Everything works well using winLIRC and the receiving part works well on Linux. But when I try to transmit something I keep getting the "hardware does not support transmitting" error. Someone told me to recompile the lirc_serial driver, but isn't that done when I write make and make install after I've run -/configure? Doesn't ./configure configure LIRC correctly? I use Suse9.3 and the latest LIRC version from the LIRC website and the high-power transeiver linked from the LIRC website. Thanks, Stefan |
