Take a look at http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/technicaldetails.html for details about values in lircd.conf, including aeps and eps. Timing values I'm referring to are just the fields in lircd.conf header. You can try getting them again with irrecord to see if you get different values. Try it in a dark environment, or at different distances from the receiver, etc. See if you more consistent values for a particular situation. Or, you can look for a premade configuration file using the same protocol as your remote and get the timings from it, assuming they are correct or close to it.
