Hello! Well, I've successfully compiled the latest version of LIRC from CVS, and it works beautifully with the 2.6 kernel and my Actisys IrDA-to serial dongle. Now I've got a different problem. I'm trying to get LIRC to work with the Sharp RRMCG0235AJSC control. I run irrecord and it sees the initial button presses just fine, when it's measuring the gap. However, right after that, before it starts recording which buttons are which, it says for me to press an individual button as fast as I can so it can check for a toggle bit. I only get a chance to push one button down once before it errors out of the program, saying it can't detect a toggle bit, but it *knows* RC-6 has a toggle bit! What should I do to get it working? I've tried everything I can think of. Clint Olson |
