Hi, I'd like to compile the cvs version of lirc on my debian testing/unstable box. I know there is a .deb package available on dselect but I would prefere the cvs version. After download of the sources ./autogen.sh says : Running automake --gnu ... Makefile.am:7: require version 1.5, but have 1.4-p6" and then obviously configure fails because there is no Makefile.in. I tried to install automake-1.6 (the 1.5 version is available only for the stable distribution) then changed the link on /etc/alternatives making the system to run the 1.6 version instead of 1.4 but the replay was: Running automake --gnu ... aclocal.m4:978: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.6.3, but aclocal.m4 aclocal.m4:978: was generated for Automake 1.4-p6. You should recreate aclocal.m4:978: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again. /usr/share/automake-1.6/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL ........ Can anyone help me on that? Thanks in advance, Flavio |
