Hi Chris! > Attached please find a patch which updates lirc_serial.c from my previous > patch. Patch from root of linux tree with -p1. Let me know if it works > and if so I'll release an -oh4 patch. What does the oh mean anyway? Okay, here's my report: - lirc_dev and lirc_serial modules compile fine - I can insert them both without freezing my machine - my machine freezes though when anything tries to access /dev/lirc/0. I've tested it with runinng lircd first - this works until I start an application with lirc-support (xmms with lirc-plugin in my case). Then I've tried mode2 - this causes a lock up immediately. Do I need to recompile these tools? If so, is it sufficient to just type "make" in the <lirc>/tools directory? -- Ciao, Sebastian |
