I am switching from Window completely to Arch Linux (current using kernel 3.18.6) and the xf86-input-wacom 0.28.0-1 provided in the official repository is not working for my Intuos Pen CTL-680, of which is working flawlessly in Win 7. It will be very much appreciated if you gentlemen can help solving the issue. Thank you.
That's odd. The CTL-680 should be supported by the 3.18 kernel, and I don't believe it requires any particularly-recent version of xf86-input-wacom. Could you please run the following commands and post the output? That should provide some basic information about what the kernel and X are recognizing:
$ lsusb -d 056a: $ dmesg | grep -i wacom $ xinput list
It seems I misunderstood the results of my search... The CTL-680 should be supported by the 3.19 kernel, not the 3.18. Until it is available for Arch, I'd suggest trying to use our input-wacom driver (see here) which has the necessary patch in the current 0.26 release.
Thank you for the reply. I will wait for the 3.19 kernel as it is already
in the arch's test repository.
Best Regard,
Nelson
