Hi all, I have a 2.4.2 kernel and I have installed the modules required to provide firewire support to my system, i.e: [dl231@worthingtons dl231]$ /sbin/lsmod Module Size Used by raw1394 6496 0 video1394 14772 0 (unused) ohci1394 22604 1 [video1394] ieee1394 21040 0 [raw1394 ohci1394] I am using a Belkin Firewire PCI Card and a Pyro 1394 web cam. I have also installed Chris Urmson's simple image grabbing example at: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~curmson/Useful_Stuff/useful_stuff.html However, I haven't managed to obtain a correct frame using this program. I guess I have to play with the parameters I pass to the function: dc1394_dma_setup_capture. I wonder if any of you has had success grabbing frames from a Pyro camera, both using this program or other code. It looks like I have done the installation of all the software required for ieee1393 dv capture correctly. If anybody has been able of capturing frames from a Pyro web cam and wants to share it with me I would be most grateful. Any help is most welcome.
