Hi, I am reading the NTFS volume directory by directoy i.e starting from the root directory to others level by level. Each directory has the following attributes: 1. INDEX_ROOT 2. INDEX_ALLOCATION 3. BITMAP I am able to successfully read the INDEX_ENTRIES from INDEX_ROOT and INDEX_ALLOCATION. If the directory size is small, all the entries can be found in these two attributes. But, for large directory size there are additional index blocks on the disk. How can i find out the remaining blocks. Also, I am not able to exploit the bitmap attribute. How will it be useful in this case. Thanks in advance. Regards, Pawan Rathi. --------------------------------- Heres a new way to find what you're looking for - Yahoo! Answers |
