Neither sets the radeonfb driver the resolution correct (still 80x25 chars) nor is it possible to use fbset (screen unreadable). I've removed all the others framebuffer drivers so only radeonfb is used but with no effect. I've also tried both DVI and VGA but both shows the same effect. Could it be that the radeonfb doesn't handle my ATI Radeon 7500 correct? Or is the ATI Radeon 7500 not very useful? But why does it work with 2.4.26 then? Which is the best framebuffer supported graphics card without a cooler, has a DVI, is reasonably priced (below 100$) and also usable with DirectFB? O.
