Hello all, the group I work for has an incoming 34MB/s circuit from BT which is used to terminate a private adsl provision on. Currently it uses BT's IPstream product. Another circuit is about to be ordered but this one will be used for external users to access different networks, again all private. It has been proposed by the guys who run this to use a checkpoint firewall with several discreet ethernet ports to seperate out the external users by ipaddress and direct the traffic to the appropiate internal network. I think a better way is to use DataStream and provide several 1483 terminations, one for each network needed. If I have a 155MB/s atm card in a linux server with a multiport ethernet card(s), can I bridge each 1483 circuit to an individual ethernet interface without any risk of data "leaking" from one network to another? This would certianly be a cheaper option than the firewall and I think more secure.
