Hello all, I'm new to this list and to Linux and ATM in general. Excuse me for my questions. I run Linux kernel 2.4.0-test7, compiled on a Pentium PRo HP Netserver, supporting Fore PCA-200E. I connect via 155 Mbps to a Xylan Omni 9 switch with Cell Switching Modules and Ethernet Switching Modules. The Omni 9 has ports for Ethernet, ATM 155 and ATM 25. It runs LANE v2.0, and the LECS, LES and BUS has been configured on it. I can bring up the ATM card on the linux box. I follow the instructions in the manual to run atmsigd and ilmid. The switch detects my ATM card. I configure the linux box with an IP address of 192.168.13.191 and the switch is configured with IP address of 192.168.13.185. I try to configure the switch as an ARP server with the atmarp -s command, but I get this only when I run the atmarp -a command : IP 192.168.12.185, state INVALID, addr 47.0079.00000000000000000000.000A03E00000.00, flags 0x2004<PERM,ARPSRV> ----- Unknown incoming connections ----- ----- Incoming unidirectional connections ----- ----- End of dump ----- So I try running the zeppelin LANE demon, but I get this output instead : zeppelin:main.c: Our ATM address: 39.0348.8001BC90000100010001.00204808919E.00 zeppelin:kernel.c: Socket ioctl to lecd_ctrl failed:Function not implemented Does anybody have any ideas? |
