Having just upgraded the kernel to 2.4.18-rmk6-5mx4 fbset now does stuff - unfortunately it messes up the display. Presumably the timings or sync stuff or something else needs changing... `fbset -move right' still gives the same error. > How about X + suitably placed xterm window + perhaps no window manager?
