Ive just ordered a 16 bit PCMCIA card to IDE converter from ebay for a to= tal of about =A320 - but the seller is based in hong kong but ships worldwide= and has many available. Perhaps you should consider something like this for s= uch tasks? Find it here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&cate= gory=3D31567&item=3D6768722923&rd=3D1&ssPageName=3DWD2V. If it works (as yet unconfirmed) it would be by far the cheapest mass sto= rage medium - and who knows, we might even be able to use a cdrom with the net= book under external power! Ill let you know if it works (fingers crossed) when= it arrives. Ed. >I hate to buy yet another 1GB CF card just to compile minimo, although >they are down to just US$47 in price. > >B.D. > >P.S.
