Dear list, I am using a Powerbook G4, Mac OS X 10.3.8, and DarwinPSK 0.8.0.4; all works fine if I use the built in microphone as the audio source. After a bit of soldering, I came up with a simple soundcard interface, connected to line-in on the Mac. Here's the problem: if I switch the audio source from microphone to line in (in Mac OS X System preferences), DarwinPSK doesn't seem to get any input any more. If I switch back to "microphone" all is OK again. (I verified that there is actually sufficient NF going into line-in.) In the DarwinPSK Settings, I cannot select "line-in" or "microphone" as audio input, I only see "built-in audio", or anything else attached (for instance my USB Headset). Any ideas? I guess this is not really a bug in DarwinPSK, since I get the same effect with Multimode. However, there are audio applications where line-in works, typically those where I choose between microphone and line-in in the application's preferences. Cheers, Joachim. PS: Output/transmission works fine... |
