A few messages ago, someone pointed out the problem with erasing passed a wrapped line in the console plugin. So I got to thinking, what if this used some kind of GUI toolkit like Qt, except for the console? A little searching on Freshmeat led me to this: http://members.xoom.com/stropea/tvision.html I don't know how good it is or anything, but if it's anything like the one I used with (don't laugh) Turbo Pascal it should at least look good. Something like this may be a step to create a console plugin that's comparable in power and features to the QT-gui. I'm also unsure if it's linux only, or if it would be compatible with other systems. It mentions a dependancy on gpm, which implies Linux-only to me. In any case, I don't feel that I'm enough of a programmer to do something like this, and for my purposes the console plugin is fine. I just thought I'd mention this as a possibility. -- Dave Kimmel cri...@v-... ICQ: 5615049 |
