librsync is a library implemention the of remote file synchronization algorithm popularized by the rsync utility. Release 0.9.6 is the first release since migrating to SourceForge, and includes significant bug fixes.

The autoconf configuration has been overhauled and it now compiles and runs on more platforms, including MacOSX and Win32. Debian package building scripts are now included.

Applications that used librsync 0.9.5 will require minor modification to work with 0.9.6. The interface is unchanged since 0.9.5, but the header file to include has been renamed from rsync.h to librsync.h.
