I have no experience with the 'framerate' feature. I will try to look at the problem with my Flea (Thanks PtGrey!) but I can't promise when this will be done. This feature is rather new (IIDC 1.31). The classic ways to determine the framerate are - for Format_7: use the byte-per-packet (BPP) value - for other formats: use the framerates specified by dc1394_video_set_framerate (15, 30, 7.5,...)
