just about done with the first tests, It works !!! System specs: Tyan S2895 Mainboard, 2 Opteron 270 dual Core Processors (2GHz) 3Ware SATA Raid Controller, 16 GB Memory, Onboard Firewire Ti TSB43AB22/A Software (all 64 bit comiled): Kernel 2.6.12.4 Libdc 0.9.3 (from SuSE 9.1 64 bit rpms) coriander 0.99.9 Kamera: sony XCD-X700 1024x768 8bit grey, 15fps just hit the iso-start button and capture and display, et voila. steady= 15fps. I will try some Vosskuehler VDs firewire Interfaces with 1.3 Megapixel= Cams when i've got some spare time, sorry, but I don't have got any color Cameras. I know that coriander and libdc are slightly out of date, but i rarely= use them in production work, an as long as this version works, i dont bothe= r with an update.
