Hi Damien, Thanks for your support, unfortunately we haven't succeeded in getting reactivision and the camera to work together, yet... probably mostly because we are not used to coding C++. could you please be a little more specific on where to include the parameters of the camera in the code? we're working with a build of reactivision that - according to martin kaltenbrunner and our own experience has the libdc1394 already included. the message states, that the error is in line 122 and 803 of the format7.c - which is not in the included folder but in a completely different one. (deleting the libdc installation including this hasn't got any effect and we still get the same message, so it seems, that it uses the format7.h file included in the reactivision download...) is it possible to set the parameters in the format 7.h-file (which exists twice, once in a sub-folder of the reactivision developer sources and once in a separate libdc-folder... ) ? so far we have tried several camera settings (maximum size of 752x480px but different package sizes and color coding (according to point grey, with the mono sensor y8bit should be the right choice here) i hope you can give us more advice on how to solve the problem. thanks a lot, regards from vienna, joachim Am 01.03.2012 um 02:42 schrieb Damien Douxchamps: > Joachim, > > On Tue, 2012-02-28 at 17:41 +0100, Joachim Hackl wrote: >> Hi Damien, hi everyone... >> >> I'm currently trying to get my Point Grey FireflyMV FFMV-03M2M to work on a Mac Book Pro running OSX 10.6 in combination with reactiVISion. >> I was able to configure and build reactivision using XCode. >> After that, when I run the application, I get the following message: >> >> >>> Last login: Tue Feb 28 17:19:55 on ttys000 >>> /Users/jh/_UNI/D/software/reactivision/reacTIVision-1.4-src/macosx/build/Development/reacTIVision.app/Contents/MacOS/reacTIVision ; exit; >>> greyhound:~ jh$ /Users/jh/_UNI/D/software/reactivision/reacTIVision-1.4-src/macosx/build/Development/reacTIVision.app/Contents/MacOS/reacTIVision ; exit; >>> reacTIVision 1.4 (Feb 28 2012) >>> libdc1394 error: Format_7 Error_flag_1 is set: in _dc1394_v130_handshake (format7.c, line 122): invalid image position, size, color coding or ISO speed >>> >>> libdc1394 error: Format_7 Error_flag_1 is set: in dc1394_format7_set_roi (format7.c, line 803): Handshaking failed after setting color_coding >>> >>> camera: Point Grey Research, Firefly MV FFMV-03M2M >>> format: 752x480 >>> >> Can you (or someone) provide any help and point out what the errors are about and on how to avoid them in order to get reactivision to work with the firefly cam? >> (at the moment i get a scrambled image, the size sometimes is correct and true to the aspect ratio of the cam, but sometimes it isn't) > > You should check your camera manual to verify which combinations of > image position, size, color coding and packet size are allowed.
