Due to some errors found in 2.10, I have packed this new released with all known blockers hopefully solved. Actually, a slight misinterpretation of a feature can have catastrophic consequences for other big packages that relies on this library, so I prefer to do a new release few days after 2.10 and keep a good mood.

As a plus, the documentation is now on ODT format, which reduces greatly the package size. The final tarball is reduced from roughly from 14 Mb to 6Mb. Not bad, as there is no need to make a separate package without documentation anymore. Never mind, I really didn't like the idea of code without documentation at all.... read more

Version 2.2 adds stability, fixes all
know bugs, and adds support for dictionary
metatag. Pascal unit now compiles under
FPK Pascal as well as Delphi. See the

I am pleased to the announce the release 2.1 of the LittleCMS open source color engine.

Version 2.1 is a maintenance release which solves
all known bugs and glitches in 2.0
Among other improvements, it delivers a new
Delphi wrapper. It is fully backwards compatible
with 2.0.

Upgrading to 2.1 is highly encouraged.

among other improvements, it delivers:

- Full implementation of the ICC standard

Little cms intends to be a small-footprint, speed optimized color management engine in open source form. Since the initial release, back in 1998, lcms has been continuously evolving, mostly thanks to contributions done by skilled programmers, who generously donated their valuable time to review the engine and the documentation. For now, little cms has been ported to a big number of platforms and is currently used in many open source and commercial products, as well as being distributed in major linux enviroments. Thanks to all for this great support!

Last revision does support ICC v4 and is quite fast!

New revision of the color engine -- license changed to MIT

This one is adding PostScript, named color profiles and some ICC 4.0 compatibility

Small update

New version of littlecms color engine now available, with several additional features. Also there are much improved profilers for monitor, scanner/digital camera and workspace.

lcms 1.08 released, including free profilers for monitor & scanner.

There are now links to precompiled libraries in the main site. Including Debian, FreeBSD and SGI IRIX. See http://www.littlecms.com/downloads.htm
