I'm using Linux and Launchy is storing weby-icon-cache folder and history.db, lauchy.db, lauchy.ini in home directory ( $HOME or ~/ ) cluttering my home folder.
What I'm trying to say is that is should have it's own directory like $HOME/.launchy or ~/.lauchy , a folder of it's own to store database and config files in a hidden dot folder like every other applications. Another directory might be $HOME/.config/launchy
Thanks.

I can't agree more. I have same problem and think launchy data should be stored in hidder folder. Please consider to change this launchy behaviour.

I agree. Standard practice is to install into hidden files in the home directory. Not doing this communicates the presumption that your application is more important to the user than those that do abide by this standard -- for example, GNOME, vim or bash -- which is plain absurd. Especially when it takes a single keystroke (the addition of an initial period) to correct.

I will not use launchy until this behavior is changed.

Which I should add is a shame, because it's otherwise a really great application.
