=2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, in fact the stable release doesn't have officially other KDE version than=20 2.2.2 and qt which goes with it. I upgraded to the debs from the official KDE mirror (I picked a local mirro= r=20 ftp://ftp.belnet.be/mirror/ftp.kde.org/stable/latest/Debian ). I think there's a problem with the dependencies as I described before, if I= =20 have the QT 3.1 headers, I can't have the Magick++ packages (the devel=20 ones), that's all I'm affraid. I think that to get this all work I should=20 upgrade all the dependencies of libmagick5-dev to get them right with the=20 qt 3.1 and this includes almost the whole system (glibc...) The specific errors are only: =2D - If I have the QT 3.1 headers, it configures right, but when doing mak= e,=20 there's very soon a error pointing on the missing Magick++ binary. =2D - If I install all the dependencies for Magick++, I don't have QT heade= rs=20 >=3D3.1, so the CVS files with admin from the package apart doesn't even=20 configure and to compile with the old qt/kde versions of all is for me a=20 big step back, so I'll prefer to upgrade my system to sarge (the testing=20 debian version) I'll have another look on the compilation with the KDE 2 and qt 3.0.5=20 headers. I'll let you know what result I get.
