I'm pleased to release the 1.6 version of ksip.
There are lots of improvements suggested by danix and the slacky community that I've implemented in that version.
First of all the GUI is fully redesigned to use Layouts (try to stretch it :D )
Second improvement is to the search systems that now support a simple search joined to the old regex advanced search.

I'm pleased to release the 1.5 version of KSlacky InfoPkg that is an 1.4 version implemented only with Qt4 code, so you don't need kde to run it.

I'm happy to announce that danix85 has been added to the project members.
Danix is designing the kslacky infopkg official web site and also will help me in some tasks of ksip packaging.

I've this evening adapted ksip to use only Qt4 without KDE4 code. So you can use it without installing the new Desktop Environement but just installing the Qt4 libs.
Many tests will follows and I hope to release the new version soon.... read more

I'm Giovanni Santostefano and I'm pleased to release the first usable version of KSIP that provide a KDE4 GUI for Slackware package management.
With KSIP you are able to search/install/upgrade/remove tgz packages of your system in a completely fair approach for the desktop user.
