Hello Krang_users, Problem: After upgrading to Krang 2.0 I can't login to krang (500 Internal Server Error ... Additionally, a 302 Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request) or view the website (connection error). Background: Before attempting this, I repaired a mysql database problem and made a backup. MYSQL: I was confident I had repaired the mysql database with Mysql> REPAIR TABLE tablename ; After repairing a few tables I was again able to log in to Krang and to see my most recent changes there. Note that even when I was having database problems the website always displayed properly. Krang backup: Once I was confident the repair was successful I attempted to backup krang, only to get this error: ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) I then rest the mysql root password to null with Mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR root@localhost=PASSWORD(""); After that the backup worked smoothly. Upgrade to Krang-2.000-Redhat9-perl5.8.0-i386-linux-thread-multi: After the backup, I upgraded Krang to v2.0 with the no-backup option. After reading the successful completion information, I noticed I couldn't login to krang or the site. Krang.log: [12/11/05 10:23:02] [cms.roberthjackson.org] [critical] [Sun Dec 11 10:23:02 2005] null: Error executing run mode 'login': DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Got error 28 from table handler at /usr/local/krang/lib/Krang/User.pm line 637. Is this a MySQLRoot Password problem? Or a permissions problem (update said "fixing ownership" of new /usr/local/krang files, and also "fixing ownership of lib/Krang.pm")? Thanks, Giancarlo --------- Giancarlo Libertino Robert H. Jackson Center |
