Greg, The question is - what are you looking to do with the .kds files? If you're looking to simply poke around and take a look, the .kds file is simply a tarball, Winzip should open it just fine. The files within the .kds file are all XML files, and will be readable with any text editor. Keep in mind, however, that most will contain binary data that is easily accessible only through Krang. So if you're trying to do more than simply look around, you're currently out of luck.
