I had to change krang.conf rather than the database.  I was surprised that 
the instance display name isn't used on the list of instances when hitting 
the krang root.  More on that below.

When I originally setup krang I used a test site and name for several of 
the parameters.  We built on this and it became our primary krang 
instance.  A more meaningful name seemed appopriate so I wanted to tweak 
it.  It would have been nicer if the instance name InstanceDisplayName 
specified in krang.conf were displayed on the instance menu instead of the 
unique instance identifier used in the Instance tag and for naming 
directories.  The use of the display name would make renaming instance 
much easier since the directories wouldn't have to be renamed.
